A. M. Castle & Co. Appoints Christina Ellis as Chief Human Resources Officer

OAK BROOK, IL – December 9, 2024 – A. M. Castle & Co., a global provider of specialty metals and supply chain solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Christina Ellis as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective immediately.

In this role, Ellis will oversee A. M. Castle & Co.’s global human resources strategy, including talent development, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement, across the company’s extensive international footprint in North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. She will report directly to Dan Stoettner, CEO of A. M. Castle & Co.

Ellis joins A. M. Castle & Co. with more than 20 years of experience in talent management, human capital strategy, and organizational leadership. Prior to this role, she served as Senior Vice President, Head of Talent Management & Talent Acquisition at Kemper, where she led enterprise-wide efforts in leadership development, succession planning, and workforce transformation. She has also held executive HR leadership roles at First Midwest Bank, CNA Insurance, and United Airlines, where she implemented strategic talent initiatives that drove operational excellence and employee engagement.
